I have over 1500 hours of massage and bodywork training from McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, California and continuing education programs (CMT #73252). While the focus of my training has been Tui Na, Shiatsu, Acupressure and Craniosacral Therapy, I have also studied Thai, Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Manual Lymph Drainage, Deep Tissue and Swedish massage. I have a strong commitment to continuing education and believe that all bodywork study, inside and outside the primary modalities of my practice, add a depth and richness to my work. I also have a daily qigong practice to maintain my own health and well-being and am a senior student of Wudang West Cultural Heritage Center. I have shared my love of this work by teaching acupressure and cupping classes at McKinnon and qigong workshops at the Berkeley Adult School since 2019.
I was first drawn to becoming a bodyworker as a result of a Reiki session I received shortly after moving to the bay area in 2015. This session filled my entire being with an inner joy and I immediately knew that I wanted to share this feeling with the people around me. I was inspired to know that I had found my true calling in life.
Entering the field of bodywork has given me the opportunity to serve others while continuing to nurture my own personal growth. I look forward to working together with you on your journey towards a more comfortable and harmonious body, mind, and spirit.
